The Story

Momentvm is where software architecture meets sonic design. Founded by Krzysztof Majzerowicz-Jaszcz—a software engineer and IT consultant—the project bridges technical precision with raw creative execution, serving as a core pillar of the Momentvm company identity.

The music is built on complex, structured frameworks, drawing heavy influence from 1970s jazz fusion, progressive rock, krautrock, and the Berlin School, alongside the technical nostalgia of retro video games and demoscene soundtracks. Operating as a complete solo unit, Krzysztof acts as a multi-instrumentalist and engineer—composing, performing, programming, recording, and mixing every track from scratch.

In an ecosystem increasingly reliant on automated shortcuts, Momentvm stands for absolute craftsmanship. Every note of music is performed by human hands, utilizing zero generative AI.

The timeline of Momentvm:

2010 | The Foundation

Following early attempts to form a traditional progressive rock band, Krzysztof shifted focus toward independent composition. Partnering with fellow musician Daniel, he began laying down the foundational arrangements that would later define the project’s complex structural style.

2018 | Digital Launch & Evolution

The launch of the Momentvm YouTube channel marked a transition from raw songwriting to full-scale studio production. While rooted in progressive rock, the project expanded its scope into instrumental electronic music and intricate, modernized arrangements of retro video game soundtracks.

2023 | Sync Placements & First LP

Momentvm’s distinctive sound gained traction within the tech and gaming communities, becoming a frequent underscore for notable content creators, including Reduktor Szumu, RS Elektronika, RetroGralnia, Kim Justice, and Casual Retro Gamer. The year culminated in the release of Disk Driven, the project’s debut album of entirely original material.

2024 | Live Execution & Recognition

Momentvm transitioned from a studio project to a proven live act, executing high-energy sets of video game music covers. The technical execution of the project was validated on a competitive level, taking 1st Place in the Adam Gilmore Cover Compo at the SV2024WE demoparty.

2025 | Commercial Game Scoring

The project expanded directly into the gaming industry with Krzysztof composing, arranging, and producing the complete original soundtrack for the game ByteRogue, currently available on Steam

2026 | B2B Sonic Branding

Demonstrating the value of custom music in corporate architecture, the Vice President of Protan Elmark commissioned Momentvm to design a comprehensive corporate sonic identity for the company, expanding the project’s portfolio into corporate brand assets.
